Privacy Policy

What you type into a form. Our enquiry, appraisal, strategy call and listing forms ask for your name, email address and phone number, and most ask for something about your situation: a property address, what you are looking for, or a message. Only the fields marked required are required. We collect it so we can answer you.

How you arrived. If you reach the site from an advertisement or a campaign link, your browser carries identifiers in the address. We keep them for the length of your visit and attach them to any enquiry you send, so we can tell which advertising is worth paying for. They identify a click, not a person.

What your browser reports. Pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, and whether you clicked a phone or email link. This is ordinary web analytics and we see it in aggregate.

We do not ask for sensitive information through this website. Please do not send financial account details, identity documents or health information through a web form. If we need something like that we will tell you how to send it safely.

This site sets no cookies of its own. Every cookie below is set by a third-party service loaded through Google Tag Manager.

The investment property calculator also stores a reference in your browser so your figures are still there when you come back. It is not linked to your name.

We advertise on Google and on Meta, and we use remarketing: if you visit this site you may later see our advertisements elsewhere. Google and Meta do that using the identifiers in the table above. We never see who you are through it; we see how many people in a group did something.

You can turn off personalised Google advertising at adssettings.google.com and Meta’s in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences. Blocking cookies in your browser, or using a content blocker, also stops most of it. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

The phone number shown on this site is sometimes a tracking number rather than our office line. It rings the same office. It exists so we can tell which advertising produced a call, and the call is recorded against that number by our call tracking provider. Our real office number is (07) 5327 3469 and you are welcome to use it directly.

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. These are the services that process it on our behalf, and what each one gets:

Page views and form submissions, through the Meta pixel.

WildJar (call tracking)

The phone number shown to you, which page you were on, and where you came from. It also receives the Google Analytics visitor identifier. If you call a tracked number, the call record belongs to this service.

Resend

Delivers enquiry emails from this website to our office. Your enquiry passes through it.

Connekt Global

Runs the investment property calculator, which is embedded from their site. What you type into the calculator goes to them, not to us.

Tapi

Runs the maintenance request portal. A maintenance request goes to Tapi, not to an inbox here.

realestate.com.au

If you start a rental application from a listing, you are handed over to their application service.

Vercel

Hosts this website and processes the usual web server logs.

Several of these are based outside Australia or store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. Sending us an enquiry through this website means accepting that.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to our own professional advisers.

We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with you and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to a licensed agency, and then no longer than we have a reason to. Analytics and advertising records expire on the schedules the services above set, which are typically measured in months rather than years.

If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, ask us and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email property@faa.net.au or call (07) 5327 3469. We will ask you to confirm who you are before we hand anything over, and we will answer within a reasonable time and at no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to put it right. If you are still unhappy, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

This site is served over HTTPS, forms are protected against automated abuse by Google reCAPTCHA, and enquiry emails go to a mailbox only our staff can open. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise; what we can say is that we do not ask for anything through this site that would be damaging in the wrong hands.

If we add or remove a service that handles your information, this page changes with it, and the review date at the top moves. There is no notification list for it, so if this matters to you, check back.
